Stunned by a $7 Fountain Pen! - Pen ASMR

Relax as I discover just how good a pen the Jinhao 51A is.
The original Parker 51 fountain pen was a revolutionary design that took the entire world by storm when released to the masses. First developed in 1939 and introduced to the whole world in 1941, the Parker 51 was the pen to have, so much so that people on tight budgets would sometimes purchase just the pen cap so they could clip into their shirt pocket to make people think they owned the fine, luxurious Parker 51 which had become a status symbol of the time. Parker ceased production of the 51 in 1972 after cheap, ball-point pens had taken market-share away from fountain pens.

I hope this post finds you well. Some of you know that I am a fan of vintage Parker 51 fountain pens. When I learned that Jinhao had a knockoff of this world renowned fountain pen I had to try one out and at less than $8 each, I did not go wrong. My initial thoughts on the 51A are quite favorable and so I will use it for a few weeks, and in a future video, will report back my thoughts on this beautiful fountain pen.
