ASMR - Stonehenge Ancient Mysteries, Skara Brae and Amarna (2.5 hrs ASMR)

This male, soft spoken ASMR video is an exploration of three ancient archaeological sites: Stonehenge, Skara Brae and Amarna/Akhetaten. I discuss the long history of Stonehenge, from the first works on the site by people from the Windmill Hill culture around 3100 BC, to the multiple works and rearrangements that took place until 1600 BC. After this, Stonehenge continued to live a life of its own and was adopted by the druids, became a legendary monument, and revealed extraordinary secrets since the 20th century. Skara Brae is a very well preserved neolithic village in the Orkney Islands (Scotland) and we will explore the houses that a community built 5000 years ago. Amarna was the new capital founded by "heretic" pharaoh Amenhotep IV (a.k.a. Akhenaten). In the last story I take you to the discovery of this particular chapter in the history of Ancient Egypt: Aten, Nefertiti, and why the old order was finally restored and Amarna sentenced to oblivion.
