IMPORTANT: I am aware that during the peripheral exam, my hands are out of your sight, this was a learning experience for this type of exam. My camera was also a smidge off center for this video and the next. I also apologize for dropping things, it is because of muscle spasms, I think I also got a couple of words mixed up because of my neurological disorder. You will find that I will probably NEVER post a perfect video. Because of my illness (scroll down for more info) I can only do so much and just don't have the luxury of re-filming again and again. I honestly try to work my little flubs into the roleplay in a comedically way to lighten the mood. I LOVE doing ASMR, but in order to keep doing it, it can never become a stressful or worrying task. Because stress and anxiety are big triggers and cause me to deal with symptoms such as: non-epileptic seizures, spasms and tremors, blindness, paralysis up to my waist (yes, really), confusion, and even dementia. I know I look normal and put together in my videos but the reality is that I'm still very sick even on good days.

What is ASMR? ASMR stands for Autonomous sensory meridian response. It refers to the tingly feeling people get when hearing or experience various things. Examples include but are not limited to: tapping sounds, medical examinations, breathing sounds, whispers, light exams, face exams, being spoken to softly close to their ears, hair brushing, eating sounds, drinking sounds, and the list goes on and on. When you experience ASMR, you feel a tingling sensation begin at your head and move downwards followed by a very calm feeling, resulting in sleep, relief from anxiety, better focus, etc.
