Just got back from KATSUCON 2018!! Thank you all so much who approached me, either for a picture with my Mercy cosplay, or as a Gibi-channel-watcher :D You were all incredibly kind and I was so happy to meet such polite, friendly people! Here is a long, ASMR-style rundown of how I made my Mercy cosplay, with a mini-roleplay in the beginning to give you a lil taste of a future collaboration I have with Animated ASMR (the talented guy who did the Team Rocket collab with me. (Her patterns were SO helpful. Even though I ended up adjusting a lot of it, having the base work done will save you a frick ton of guess work and crying.)

A lot of people have asked me how much time/money went into making this costume. I purposefully did not track either to save myself from any regrets LOL. I started actively researching and thinking about starting this during the summer, with the bulk of work starting in October, finishing this month! A lot of professional cosplayers are able to finish their builds in a month or less, but this was the first time I’ve ever attempted something this complicated! Cosplay is definitely a (very intense) hobby for me, and I’m not a professional, but I hope this video can help or educate, or entertain! :)
