I need extra brownie points for recording the first part, outdoors. -3 and cold enough to make me want to jump up and down in my tights...only, the elastic in the said tights, has mostly disintegrated and held up with a song and a prayer and a couple of safety pins in the back of my skirt. It might have something to do with the fact that, once or twice, or maybe more than that, I hitched the tights up under my armpits to keep me warm. We won't mention the 2 hours of extra recording time where, somehow, my audio interface failed, or my software skills weren't quite up to scratch because I was trying not to lose my lollipop down the back of my gym mat and no, that is not a euphemism...akin to the bike shed fiasco of 1980 something or other.
I wish you peace and good health, as I would on any other day. I do not know what tomorrow brings but I am blessed to have this moment and I am grateful to those of you who have built a community here in my tiny corner of this crazy world...thank you for making a difference.
