Kia Ora my friends, well I decided to go ahead and do a review on Star Trek Discovery and how well I think it fits into the Star Trek universe and Gene Roddenberry's vision.

Possible Spoilers for Episodes 1 and 2 of Season 2.

I made a few snap judgments on Star Trek Enterprise when it aired and I promised I would be more considered this time. This is why this video might seem a little 'late' to the party.

❓ What is ASMR anyway?

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and it basically refers to a calming, often tingling physical sensation.

This sensation is 'triggered' by various things such as whispering closely into a micrphone, to make it seem as though the listener (through headphones) is having someone talk very closely and intimately with them. This is probably the most popular and common ASMR trigger.

Other common triggers include, Scratching and tapping on various objects, page turning while reading, simulating personal attention to the viewer and concentration on a task, often a fairly simple task such as drawing a picture or unboxing a new product.
