Hey guys!

In today's ASMR roleplay video I will be your therapist checking in with some problems you have been having (relationship breakdown/loss of pet/grief themes) and discussing your mental health surrounding these issues.

I also go into the Big 5-
5 types of activities that are proven to better mental health.

The Big 5 comes from MindSpot- an Australian mental health organisation.

For those wanting a quick summary,
the Big 5 includes the following elements:

1) Meaningful Activities

2) Healthy Thinking

3) Goals and Plans

4) Healthy Routines

5) Social Connections


Current literature suggests that the more frequently you engage in these behaviours the more likely you are to have better mental health.
It is also likely to make you more resilient in the face of challenging life events (By taking some control over an uncontrollable situation).

If you find that you are struggling with your mental health I want you to ask yourself- How many of these activities are you regularly engaging in?
What small action could you take today to engage in one of the Big 5?
