ASMR Ramble Pizza Hut FIRES Delivery Drivers Because Minimum Wage Increase
#asmrramble #asmrsoftspoken #asmr In this ASMR soft-spoken ramble video I will talk about the fact that Pizza Hut fired several hundred delivery drivers in response to California raising their minimum wage for fast food works to $20 an hour. Starting in April 2024 California will have a minimum wage is $16 an hour and $20 an hour for fast food workers. Pizza Hut in response fired several hundred and the delivery drivers and stated that they will be going in the direction of using third-party apps such as Uber eats DoorDash etc. McDonald’s also responded to the minimum wage increase law in California California by Stating that they will then increase the prices on their menu items to offset the fact that they have to pay workers $20 an hour. This just goes to show that corporations don’t care about their employees and that they always are going to try to pay the workers, the bare minimum so that they can keep their stock price high and shareholders happy
