💈 Did I Just Get A Mustache?! Hot Towel Shave In Argentina’s Antique Barbershop | La Brocha Rafaela 🇦🇷
Ale Farías is a 28 year old native of Rafaela and a co-owner of La Brocha 💈 He says, “the art and freedom of expression we have behind the chair” is what drew him to barbering.
He got his start in learning unisex hairdressing. Over time, he found his true place in men’s grooming. During his apprentice days he began as a shampoo assistant and did hair coloring for women, work he didn’t enjoy much, but it gave him firsthand experience working in a salon.
Ale has always dedicated himself to this craft. At first, he was an assistant, then rented a space before opening his own salon at the age of 19 where he worked for 4 years. Later, he partnered with his friend Mauro Donna on La Brocha Barbería 🙌🏼

What Ale loves most is that no two days are the same. He explains, “You never know who will walk through the door or the personal stories and problems people share with you, which often turns into a conversation of complete trust rather than just a haircut or shave.”
Ale wants everyone who sits in his chair to feel comfortable and free to talk about any topic. Not only does he want to make you look sharp, he would like to be seen as a friend as well.
✨ Life advice? "Fight for your dreams, dedicate time, commitment, effort, and, above all, enthusiasm to the things you undertake." Ale says, "There are good, bad, and average days, but if you do what you love, the path becomes much easier.”
Outside of the shop, you’ll find Ale enjoying the simple things in life: spending time with loved ones, eating asado, and drinking mate.
