What is ASMR?
Exact definition of ASMR is Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) signifies the subjective experience of 'low-grade euphoria' characterized by 'a combination of positive feelings, relaxation, and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin'. It typically begins 'on the scalp' before moving 'down the spine' to the base of the neck, sometimes spreading 'to the back, arms and legs as intensity increases', most commonly triggered by specific acoustic and visual stimuli including the content of some digital videos, and less commonly by intentionalattentional control.

But what it really means?
Well Im sure you saw lot of videos with „ASMR“ in title. There is milions of videos made intentionally to trigger ASMR. It can be anything. If you feel „tingles“ when listening or watching to something we can says It trigger your asmr. There is lot of people that listening to asmr when have anxiety, stressful day or when studying.

Triggers of ASMR
It is really individual for everyone, but there is the most common triggers that can be also found on this channel.
The most common audio triggers are for sure relaxing whispering or soft speaking and tapping. Also very popular is crinkles, water sounds, mouth sounds, inaudible whispering, keyboard typing, page turning and others.
There is also lot of visual triggers that can trigger your asmr.
It can be drawing, painting. Watching someone giving massage or rub someone's back, playing with hair, ears, hands.
