Hey besties. Tonight's video is another fact video. I tried to keep this as straight forward as possible, because I am a white person discussing another culture and ethnicity. I have been intrigued by the Indigenous culture of Canada from a young age. The various Aboriginal cultures in Canada are all so unique, and this video is just scraping the surface.

Also, I used words like "Indian act" etc. only because that's the legal terms still used.

If you are interested in learning more about the Indigenous culture(s) in Canada, I highly suggest tik tok. Oral history, story telling, and art is the main source of information for the First Nation people, and tik tok is filled with amazing creators willing to share their culture and history.

I filmed this video two weeks before the Cowesses graves were uncovered in Saskatchewan. My heart goes out to the Indigenous people of my province. I am grieving with you all.
