The story of David and Bathsheba is legendary and fascinating. But it has its dark side of deceit and manipulation as David attempts to cover up his indiscretion. I think many of us can relate to getting tangled up in a mess that seems to snowball into something we hadn't intended at the beginning. Yet, despite David's mistakes and the sad consequences as a result of his sin, many of us can identify with this king, who was God's beloved.
