It’s the day of your awake brain surgery. Firstly you are prepped, monitored and given your general anaesthetic in the anaesthetic room. Surgeon Sarah then takes great care of you as you are brought back to awareness and she operates on your brain, whilst you are awake to interact with her, to ensure everything is functioning as it should. Then you are given some more anaesthesia to drift back off to sleep.
