Greetings & salutations, strangers. If you've been watching this channel for a minute, you'll know that besides punk rock music and shitty jokes, I am in love with Ancient Egypt. Most of my books that I own are on Egypt & when I was young I wrote letters to Zahi Hawass. Nerd alert, right? But now I can put that knowledge to good use.

In tonight's video, you are a Roman merchant who has come down to meet with Pharaoh Ramesses II himself to strike a trade deal. My job is to make you comfortable and presentable for said meeting. I'll comb your hair, putting makeup on you to make you blend in a little better with the Egyptians, and giving you a hand massage with some of the olive oil you brought with you.

Is all the info in this video correct? NOPE. For the sake of the video, I made up some details – obvs. And also some of it would be more credible that a high priestess' daughter had small ideas about what was going on in Egypt from gossip but not that any of it would be reliable, especially locations.
