ASMR Sound Therapy - Tibetan Singing Bowls

Published 8 years ago

ASMR Sound Therapy - Tibetan Singing Bowls. Ever since i experimented with Tuning forks i have been interested in singing bowls. Please tell me if you like the sounds to see if it is worth the investment to purchase some of these bowls.

I am back in the studio on a pair of valve microphones with borrowed singing bowl. This is the first time i have ever tried one, i spent a couple minutes trying to understand how to move the wood around the bowl to produce the sounds.
The bowl is a poured bowl, not hand made. The sound it creates can not be underestimated, you can feel it through the body.

I hope we captured some of the sound, it was very hard to get good recording levels. I wanted to play it safe and get something on camera so you can offer feedback if you like these sounds.

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

Watching massage ** Baba Worlds Greatest Head Massage **
Watching a person focus and describe something there passionate about ** Bob Ross deep voice talking about painting, scraping sounds, brushing sounds. The forefather of ASMR **
Whispering ** Maria GentleWhispering the Queen of ASMR **

Listening to someones voice & the way the talk
Soft spoken voices & certain accents
Hand Movements
Watching Someone Focus on a task
Personal Attention - like a hair cut
Any type of Role Play the best ones are ones that involve personal attention to you, examinations, face brushing ect
Watching someone draw or paint
Sounds : Crinkle, Tapping, Scratching & multi layering of different sounds together

Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours.

As with all my video, my intentions is always to provide you a little home away from home, where you can kick back relax and always find a new and unique experience as i guide you with sights & sound to a relaxing location where my objective is to let you feel gentle waves of relaxation & ASMR until you close your eye to fall into a peaceful sleep.
