Several people asked me to make a video copying the school supply lists. I've done that here, using pencil on regular notebook paper. (Yes, I used both sides of the paper to reduce my usage of sheets of paper.)
Please, no "school supply debates" here. I love you, but there are bigger things in the world to worry about, and this is not the place to fight over any of it. I'll just delete your comment.

I also had an idea while doing this. I spent a total of about $140 on my younger son's school supplies (including all of the "wish list" items that I bought, which was pretty much the entire list except for "Recess Equipment," because I want some clarification on that before I buy anything).
That's not a complaint. I just wondered what the price difference would be if i took that same list and bought those items at Dollar Tree. I understand that the quality may not be as good, or the quantity may not be the same, but it might be fun to compare the two.
With that in mind, I do plan a future "shop with me" video where we'll take my younger son's list to Dollar Tree and buy as many of the list items as we can find, then do a show & tell video of those items. Everything I buy on that trip will be donated to one of the local "school supply" drives that are currently ongoing in my city. Stay tuned!
