ASMR Hospital Sleep Clinic Exam | Spinal Tap | Brain Scan

The Cozy Hospital ASMR
Published 1 year ago

Warning - while needles are kept out of frame so you don't see them, there is a lumbar puncture in this video. It is mostly just sounds but if the idea gives you the ick, maybe pass on this video or skip past that part.

Welcome to the Cozy Hospital! You've come into our sleep clinic today due to suspected narcolepsy. The doctor will do a quick nerve exam and then perform a lumbar puncture (spinal tap) on you to measure the amount of hypocretin in your spinal fluid; the neuropeptide responsible for wakefulness. She will then lie you on your back and measure and mark your head for electrode placement. Before you go to sleep, she will also hook you up to the monitor so she can keep track of your heart rate, oxygen saturation, temperature, EKG, and blood pressure.

Many of the procedures are altered for ASMR purposes and because I'm not filming in an actual medical facility. (Some of them are completely fictional they just involve neat sounds.) Please consult your doctor or a reputable health care source if you have any health questions or concerns.
