Welcome back to the Map Mansion, with our historian of North America, Edwina Mortensen. She is taking us through the 50 states on the first Monday of every month, detailing their histories, and then how each became a state.

This month we are looking at Pennsylvania, where we'll touch briefly on the Native Americans of the area, then look at the various European colonies, and the emergence of the English colony, which eventually led to the formation of the state of Pennsylvania.
