🩺 Left vs. Right Brain Exam ~ Testing Each Hemisphere's Functions 🧠 | ASMR Soft Spoken Medical RP

Are you left or right brained? More logical, analytical or creative and think outside of the box? There's a hypothesis that we are either left or right brain dominant. The truth is a little more tricky: there are some functions that our brains use one side or the other more for, but for most functions, the brain uses both. Even still, there are some things that one side or the other specializes more in: the right side for left body movements/sensation, interpreting vocal tone, or reading & writing; the left side for right body movements/sensation, math, or orientation. And depending on what hand one uses to write with may switch those functions up and put them in different parts of the brain - it's really a wild card, haha.

Most of my research was focused on how hemisphere specific injuries affect brain function to determine what was mostly a left brain or right brain function. Some was in the psychology of lateralization; it was kind of all over the place LOL but I'm not a neuroscientist or really anything at all, this is just a fun little video for relaxation & entertainment, so don't take it too seriously :)
