Today in the Cozy Corner, we’re working on our PaintGem and talking about something I had to learn the hard way... sometimes wanting to quit everything doesn’t actually mean you want a completely different life. Sometimes you’re just exhausted and desperately need some space to breathe.
For a long time, I thought I wanted to do nothing. After years of working, pushing, planning, and constantly moving forward, my brain translated burnout into, “throw the whole thing away.” Eventually I realized I didn’t necessarily want to stop living my life. I wanted a break from the way I was living it.
So we’re talking about what it can look like to create calm without blowing everything up. A bath. A cozy hobby. A walk outside. Time with people you love. Music. Quiet. Little rituals that give your brain enough room to settle before you make the next big decision.
We also get into the pressure to have your entire life figured out way too young, hustle culture, giving your younger self some grace, and learning to make decisions from a calmer and more grounded place.
You don’t have to wait until someday to enjoy your life. You’re allowed to create little pockets of calm, cozy, connection, and joy right now.
