Inside Quality Control at Soylent Corp (ASMR)

Sit back, relax and take a behind the scenes look inside one of our quality control departments at our newest factory in Arkham, Massachusetts! Watch up close as our new chief scientist Professor N'cyabolel Daus-gothihu examines a very special batch of Soylent Green before it will be processed into one of many new products (see below). He even offers you a high quality sample at the end!

This is all done in part of our latest marketing campaign due to a recent change in executive leadership which has brought about a new vision for the company, including the introduction of flavored Soylent Green, Soylent Green Ice Cream, Soylent Green Candy, Soylent Green Energy Drinks, Soylent Green Cereal, Soylent Green Snacks (Chips, Pretzels, etc.), Soylent Green Soda, Soylent Green Instant Dinners, Soylent Green Vegetables and even Soylent Green Pet Food!

We also hope this video will help dispel the myth that Soylent Green is made from people. Just like any other corporation or global conglomerate, we are not engaged in any unethical or illegal activities (even though unlike you, we get a huge tax break from the government). Please do not listen to the propaganda spread by our competitors. They are known to engage in corporate espionage tactics by using paid rogue contractors, corrupt detectives, corrupt city officials & politicians, and even civilians with criminal records, to spread lies and create panic among the general population about our product. You can feel rest assured that Soylent Green is made ethically.

What is ASMR? It is both a sensation and a medium.

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current, non-scientific name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering, personal attention or watching someone perform a task. It's like goosebumps, but much more pleasant.

ASMR videos are meant to intentionally help induce this sensation, also referred to as "tingles", but also provide a relaxing, calming, soothing, therapeutic and even entertaining experience for the viewer.

Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy the videos for their calming and sleepy effect.
