What is ASMR?

ASMR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, is a relaxing sensation that can be described as "tingles" felt in the head, brain or scalp. People who experience ASMR report that it induces feelings of deep relaxation, calm, and can help in falling sleep. Common ASMR triggers include whispering, soft speaking, personal attention and care, tapping, scratching, hand sounds and hand movements, water and spray bottle sounds, ear massage and ear cleaning, and many more.
