Because May is National Mental Health Awareness Month here in the United States, the Rape Abuse & Incest National Network (aka RAINN.org) posted this exact message on their Facebook page concerning sexual abuse that I thought needed to be shared. Plus, this is a message I have been wanting to share for awhile on two very important issues.

If you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted, please call 1-800-656-HOPE or visit http://online.rainn.org , the Rape Abuse & Incest National Network.

I am not affiliated with RAINN.org nor was I paid to promote their organization. I felt their's was an important message to share, as not only does this topic hit home for me but many people are victims of sexual abuse and assault and this is the least I can do with the resources I have available to me.

In the United States, May is National Mental Health Awareness month, which raises awareness about mental illnesses such as depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, while also drawing attention to suicide.

I wish you all the best,
