ASMR jewellery tapping and me | tingling myself | playing with the sun again | lo-fi

Yes, I am able to tingle myself. That is not a euphemism, it is a fact. Yet, once upon a not so long ago, the sound of someone tapping would drive me to distraction or make me want to hide in a cupboard and hum lullabies. Now, I tap to bring about a sense of calm and to drown out other annoying sounds; the neighbour's dogs or the sound of fireworks at 1am or the collared doves perching on my window ledge who repeatedly coo coo at 4am. Tapping has become a godsend.

I am lying on my window seat surrounded by balls of wool and in 42 rows I will have finished crocheting my festival shawl. There is the faint aroma of onion emanating from the kitchen and a small spider stares at me from the ceiling but I am bigger than the spider and I will not be intimidated or made to move. I will kindly relocate it to one of the attic rooms where it can make a new home; if it finds its way down two flights of stairs and back onto the ceiling above me, I'll bake it a spider cake.

I haven't mentioned anything about the content of this creation because, ultimately, you'll either watch it, or you won't and I'm not sure how to describe myself, lounging on the floor, playing with jewellery and the sun. And of course, you'll find me sitting, standing, lying down, because I'm an eternal fidget bottom.
