There is still so much we do not know about chess, despite humanity having vigorously studied the game for more than 500 years. Today we can leverage the amazing capabilities of chess AI such as Stockfish to dive even deeper and work to unlock the secrets of "The Royal Game". In this video I try to see what would happen if we maintain the symmetry of chess but remove the distance between the two armies. The results were fascinating!
