These lovely catalogs came in the mail recently and I just had to share! A sweet chill was in the air and the heat wave ended. Are we ready for the "ber" months? The holidays will soon be upon us. The crinkles from the page turning is soooo good! The crackling fire and candlelight provides the perfect ambiance. My studio smells so wonderful! ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response.
Autonomous: Self governed.
Sensory: Perceived with the senses.
Meridian: Point of greatest splendor or vigor.
Response: Reply or reaction.
Based on literal definition, ASMR is completely subjective and based on an individual response to our senses, including sound. One cannot say, "this or that is not ASMR", to any sound. In the very same way that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
