In this romantic venture we start out at home, prepping and packing our basket. Those sounds are homey and are filled with the light clinking of dishes and glassware...paper and plastic crinkles from the food bags as well. I then take a super quick drive to Inspiration Point in my town. I walk a bit to find the best spot to lay my blanket, so we will hear crunchy foot steps on gravel. I pick wildflowers and make a floral display so we will hear some footsteps in the crackling woodsy bracken. I then spread out my food in a beautiful array of delectable and delicious foods so we will hear the crunchy bites of crusty bread and firm grapes. The sounds of dishes and food arrangement will accompany that, along with the wax paper bag crinkles. All along we will hear the lovely sounds of nature. I will also take time to examine some simple forms of wildlife. On the way back, collect more wildflowers. It is a totally immersive experience that will speak of the wholesome beauty that there is in the world in ASMR style. Enjoy the romance of good food, nice weather and the abundance of nature.

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response.
Autonomous: Self governed.
Sensory: Perceived with the senses.
Meridian: Point of greatest splendor or vigor.
Response: Reply or reaction.
Based on literal definition, ASMR is completely subjective and based on an individual response to our senses, including sound. One cannot say, "this or that is not ASMR", to any sound. In the very same way that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Tingles are optional 😉
