This week, on the Season Finale of The Institute of Unusual Inventions:

Meet Dr. Harris, the Super Star inventor of IUI's Invention Lab with a bedside manner and charm you should probably expect from someone that works alone in a lab all day! ಠ_ಠ

I had a lot of fun being this character, and I had a lot of fun finishing off this storyline ark and coming up with the idea. Thank you everyone who has shown excitement about this series and left me nice comments, it really encouraged me to continue on with it. In my experience trying to grow this channel, getting really creative frequently doesn't amount to much. The videos I put the most work and creative thought into usually don't get views, and often I will find myself a little disheartened after putting a lot of effort into something that performed ten times worse than a thrown-together-last-minute-scalp check. And that's no one's fault, the algorithm just seems to work that way.

But, marrying my love of making things weird and off-beat and mad sciencey with the ear cleanings people go looking for has been the best of both worlds for me, and the likes and comments and kindness I have gotten over this venture have made me feel like maybe I can do this, maybe I can grow a channel by being different and weird. Maybe people will like me for being me.

So again, thank you, thank you SO MUCH for the support. I read every comment, I love them, and I feel warmed to my core when people tell me they like what I am doing. I hope the season finale answers a few questions, and maybe asks a few more. I plan to start a season two in the coming months.
