Hello Friends!

Welcome to Sound Parfait! I briefly considered naming it Sound Onion, but you know, not everyone likes onions. Parfaits are delicious!

This is my first attempt at layering sounds, and it was fun! I enjoy learning more about my editing program and this video was challenging compared to the limits I've gone to in the editing department before.

Before I really got into watching role plays, my favorite videos were layered sounds without voices, since I was still new to the intentional ASMR videos and the talking made me feel awkward. lol So this is a throwback for me, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I used to enjoy these types.

What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response which is a kind of pseudo-scientific name for what is actually a very real feeling that many people have experienced. It's generally described as a pleasant tingling in one’s head, neck or spine and can be downright euphoric for some. Videos with the ASMR tag are made to trigger that feeling specifically in people to help them relax and fall asleep and generally include things like soft speaking, close attention, meticulous finger movements, sounds close to the ear and many other awesome things.
