THE SECRET BOOK OF JOHN ✨ Gnostic Creation Story Revealed ✨ A Soft-Spoken ASMR Transmission 🕯️

A note on this transmission: there is no background music, only my voice with the gentle sound of a rainstick and shaker between chapters. 🌧️🤍

Before the first star, before time began measuring eternity, before heaven above or earth below, there was a mystery.

The Secret Book of John, also called the Apocryphon of John, is a revelation attributed to the risen Christ and given to the apostle John. Preserved in four Coptic manuscripts, three of them discovered at Nag Hammadi in 1945, it is one of the most important surviving examples of Sethian Gnostic cosmology. 📜

In this transmission we follow its creation story from the Invisible Spirit beyond all names, through Barbelo the First Thought and the architecture of the Pleroma, to Sophia's solitary act, the ignorant creator Yaldabaoth, the Archons, the making of Adam, and the hidden light of Epinoia. 🌀

The Archons and Yaldabaoth are mythological figures within the ancient text, and the psychological and symbolic readings offered here are contemplative interpretation. They invite you to ask how much of what you call direct experience is inherited from structures you have stopped recognizing as structures.

In this transmission:
🌌 The Invisible Spirit and the source beyond all names
🪞 Barbelo, the first thought and the first mirror
✨ The architecture of the Pleroma
🌹 Sophia and the first separation
🦁 Yaldabaoth, the ignorant creator
⛓️ The Archons and the world of limitation
🌿 The creation of Adam and the light the rulers did not understand
👁️ Epinoia, the light hidden within
🍎 The garden and the question of forbidden knowledge
🎭 The counterfeit spirit and the awakening
🕯️ A closing practice that moves through seven layers of the constructed self

The question beneath it all is how consciousness came to forget its own origin, and what remains when the stories through which you define yourself become quiet. 💙
