i want you to know that just by geting through 2022, you did amazing and i'm so proud of you! a new year can be stressful or worrying to think about sometimes because of all of the pressures around us to become a new person and fit into a 'perfect' mould of what we should be like. but , we are all individuals and that's not at all realistic! joining a gym or learning a language or picking up a new instrument etc aren't inherently bad but they should be done for the right reasons, because /you/ want to, not because you feel like you need to as everyone else is.

you're amazing as you are any any self improvement journey you want to start should be on YOUR terms. equally, don't dwell too much on the goals you set for 2022. it's healthy to look back and consider your perspective a year ago and what you wanted to achieve at the time, but try not to beat yourself up over things you feel you 'should have' done or gotten better at. forgive yourself and move on, we're all doing life at our own pace and just because some randomer you went to school with is bragging on FB about all of their accomplishments doesn't mean you need to compare yourself to anyone else!
