In this video I am going to explain what Panic Disorder is.
Panic Disorder effects 5 % of the general population at some point in their lives and is a debilitating condition that in severe cases can lead to people becoming house bound. However, very effective treatment is available, so in the next video am going to talk you through this.
This video will outline the main facts about Panic Disorder and I will also give you some questions to ask yourself so that you can work out if this might be the problem that you are currently struggling with.
I will also explain what a Panic Attack is as this is not the same as Panic Disorder, although sometimes and wrongly, the terms are used interchangeably.
With 20-44% of people presenting at A & E with nonspecific chest pain being diagnosed as having suffered a Panic Attack, it is important that awareness of this condition is raised so that those that need help are able to get it. Especially because very effective treatments are available, you do not need to suffer.

If you have any questions then please post your comments below and I will do my best to help.
