You join me here for this Ultimate Neck back & Shoulder Massage.... This not only caused her Endless tingling but will give you amazing asmr tingles.
Every Massage or shiatsu session i do i always tailor make it to the client. Now this lady Laurie had mentioned that she had a little bit of pain and stiffness in her back just below her shoulders and also a little in the neck, as she spends alot of time sat at a computer as she is a writer.
She wanted soft tissue massage techniques but also wanted to explore pressure points within the session.
Now any pain to do with the back i always like to try cover as much of the back and spine as possible. From massaging the attachments in the neck going into the skull and working all way down to the sacrum meaning the lower back and glutes are also massaged.
In this session i felt it especially important to start by relaxing the attachments in the skull by massaging the neck and working pressure points around the neck and shoulder to help the muscles relax and ease tension.
it is also important that we release the chest by massaging and stretching the pectorals, because if these are tight they pull your shoulder forward rounding your back and potentially causing pain between your shoulder blades.
once we have worked the neck, front of shoulders and chest we turned over to massage her back, starting with some gentle massage strokes. My hands are always checking feeling examining to see which muscles are tight and need extra work, maybe they need some deep tissue massage or some slow fascia release techniques. But as well working the muscles im also checking the meridians and pressure points so i can rebalance her energy. Its important as well as just massaging the muscles we also look after her chi.
For this particular client she happened to be sensitive to her own energy and reported after feeling warmth and tingles and also saw different colours while i was working.
I think you will all agree the sounds of this massage sound lovely as the oily massage sounds create a wonderful tingly asmr experience.
