ASMR My Poetry Collection - “The 5 Dimensions of Pain” (IMPORTANT!!**)

Hey everyone, I hope you're all safe and happy... I'm so happy to be back!

I decided to hop on this platform and share with you all a very intimate collection of poems that I have written for one of my final assignments. The objective here is to disseminate knowledge: to develop an educational innovation for engaging the public about drugs or drug-related issues like mental illness/addiction, drug use, harm reduction, medicalization, or criminalization.

I have decided to focus on the stigma attached to mental illness. It's something so real and pervasive, yet it doesn't receive enough recognition. The title of this collection is "The Five Dimensions of Pain", containing 5 poems - each focused on one of the 5 human senses: sight, sound, taste smell, touch.

I really hope that my poems can resonate with you all, even if it's just to a small extent. The goal here is not about pointing fingers or blame-shifting. I only hope that we can be more compassionate and empathetic toward people struggling with mental illnesses, more mindful about the perceptions and beliefs we hold onto regarding mental illnesses, and more aware of the existing nuances of everyday discourse and language pertaining to mental health.

Just you tuning in means a lot. I'm really happy that I can use this platform for the greater good. After all, baby steps to large strides, am I right? :)
