Beautiful curls don't begin with the rods—they begin with the chemistry.
Before any winding starts, the hair must first be carefully softened and reshaped through a precise relaxation process. Whether creating straight hair, soft C curls, elegant S curls, or natural volume, everything begins by adjusting the hair structure first.
This softening stage is very similar to magic straightening. I carefully analyze the roots, mid-lengths, and ends, then apply the solution using a customized two-touch technique to match each section of the hair. The goal is not simply to apply chemicals, but to carefully prepare the hair so the final curls can be created beautifully and safely.
I often describe this process as "hair sculpting." During softening, the hair is reshaped into a condition that can later become many different styles. After winding, the neutralizing process gently locks that new shape into place, just like carefully sealing a beautiful result.
This lovely client has trusted my salon for many years. She often told me that different salons gave her inconsistent results—sometimes the curls looked beautiful, other times they quickly lost their shape.
