Odd and Curious Episode 2- ASMR Sleep Aid

Relax as I delve into the world of numismatics, which is the study, or collecting of currency. Throughout history, different cultures have used many things as money and these items fit into the numismatic category referred to as "Odd and Curious".

I never would have known that coal, glass, and bat's teeth were once used as money only a half century earlier, had my late uncle not preserved the magazine articles of Mort Reed's column, "Odd and Curious". He carefully clipped these interesting articles from the pages of Coin World magazine and placed them in three-ring binders.

These days, I am in possession of my uncle's binders and in this video I'll explore and share the pages from the second of three binders he had labeled "Odd and Curious". He enjoyed these binders privately for close to four decades before leaving us, and I can't help but wonder what he would think if he knew that tens of thousands of people would end up enjoying the humble collection that he took time to preserve for his own, simple enjoyment.
