Hey everyone 💜 yay a video over 30 mins to fall asleep to !! I really really wanted to do an acupressure and gua sha video as I haven't seen many asmrtist do them before "though the camera", my inspiration came from lovely Julia (itsblitzzz, her channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/itsblitzzz ), she uses a lot of gua sha tools in her massage and acupressure videos which are soooo relaxing, so I wanted to try my own take on it ✨
In this video I'll be doing light acupressure on you face with my fingertips, applying rose hip oil to your face and using a cooling jade gua sha tool to hold and swoop across any areas where you may be holding tension 😇 (i have no real training in gua sha/acupressure/massage, only from other videos and what my mum has taught me, she’s a certified massage therapist! so I just made it up as I went along so pls be kind to me 😅
Gua sha is a traditional Chinese method and is great for lymphatic drainage, boosting immunity and your general health 🔮 when holding pressure, I'll occasionally count down from five to help you relax or take deep breaths to wind down as much as you can before going to sleep💤 there is lots of personal attention, I've amped it up on the hand movements (as that's what a lot of you have asked for), swooping sounds, nail tapping and the tongue clicking here and there, I hope you enjoy 🌙
