Am I Drinking Too Much?

In this video I am going to help you to work out if you are drinking too much.
Having a drink at the end of a long day at work or a hectic day with the kids is a very common way of dealing with the stresses and strains of life. However, how can you tell when you have tipped over into drinking alcohol in a way that is going to potentially threaten both your physical and mental health?
Ask yourself the following questions and if you answer ‘yes’ to one or more of them it is probably worth considering reducing how much alcohol you drink.
1. Are you regularly drinking more than the recommended weekly maximum of alcohol i.e. 14 units for women, 21 units of men?
2. Do you regularly binge drink, this is defined as 6 or more units of alcohol in one sitting for women and 8 for men?
3. Do you struggle to have a ‘day off’ from alcohol?
4. Is it hard for you to socialise unless you are drinking?
5. Have you noticed that you drink more than you used to?
6. Is the amount that you drink slowly increasing?
7. Do you often drink more than your friends?
8. Have other people commented on how much you drink?
9. Are you unable to have one drink and then stop?
10. Have you noticed that the time you start drinking is getting earlier and earlier?
In my next video I will show you a quick, easy and relatively painless way to reduce how much alcohol you drink and bring it back into the healthy range. You do not have to stop drinking alcohol completely in order to be healthy.

If you have any questions then please post your comments below and I will do my best to help.
