[ASMR] 5 Year Channel-versary - Making a Birthday Cake 🎂 - No Talking

🎉 It's been 5 years since I made my very first ASMR video and what a journey this has been. I'd like to say a big thank you to all of my subscribers that have supported me along the way, I've enjoyed every minute of it and cannot wait to see what the future of ASMR on Youtube has in store for me.

🎂This video shows one of my favourite cakes (I don't actually like traditional sponge-type cake so I always have this on my birthday). Unfortunately whilst filming the melting phase my chocolate split, not once, not twice but 4 times. A mixture of tears and shouting meant the footage wasn't suitable to use for this video.

This is the perfect recipe to make with kids as it involves minimal heat and is ready almost instantly (I am one of these people who don't wait for the mixture to cool 😃).

Recipe for the cakes:
200g Mars Bars
200g Any chocolate (I chose a one with Hazelnuts in it)
4 cups of cornflakes (or rice crispies)
50g butter

1) Chop the chocolate and mars bars into small chunks and put in a bowl with the butter.

2) Melt the chocolate on a low heat in the microwave or over a pan of simmering water (be careful to not let the mixture get too hot as the cocoa butter and chocolate will split).

3) Stir all the ingredients together gently using a wooden spoon.

4) Spoon the mixture into 12 cupcake cases arranged on a muffin tin or tray. Put in the fridge to set for an hour.

Lastly, once the cakes have set store them in an airtight container in a cupboard or eat them all straight away (I totally didn't do this! 😋
