ASMR | My Coin Collection | exploring some old British money
Hi friends. I hope you enjoy this slow, calm and gentle tour of my small coin collection. In this video, I softly whisper through some British pre-decimal coins and explain the old "LSD" system (pounds, shillings, and pence) that was used before decimalisation in 1971, as well as some more modern yet still very interesting coins.
We'll see a variety of pennies, threepences, shillings, crowns and more, sharing the history and stories behind them. Whether you’re a coin collector, history lover, or just here to relax, I hope you enjoy it!
Please forgive any errors (including that I said several times that decimalisation took place in 1972, but it was in fact in 1971!)
