I used to think there was no natural way to stop a panic attack. BUT THERE IS! If you start to feel one building up, pause and allow yourself to recognize it. Validate it. Then slowly bring your body back down to normalcy. Try to identify the sounds, colors, and objects around you. Slow your breathing, hold your breathe and count regularly. Chug some water. Touch your face, notice the way your skin, hands, and hair feel. Narrow your attention to small things and become distracted. Repeat ๐ until calm. ๐
