Hey Victor, great channel! Personally, I think you're an expert on living/visiting Japan so I thought I'd ask you my 5 Burning Questions that I've wanted to ask for a long time.

1. I really want to hike/backpack in northern Japan and Hokkaido in the summertime someday. Is it safe? Is it affordable? (place to stay, food, etc.)

2. How much is transportaion in Japan? (train, car, etc.)

3. If I'm visting Japan, how can I call home/access the internet?

4. (This is stupid but...) I hear Japan has a lot of roaches and even a gokiburi forecast; and centipedes too. How bad is it in your experience?

5. Where are you from in America? I've heard you say lived in NYC.


P.S. I know you live in Nagoya but you're like the only person I thought of who was smart enough to anser this stuff.
