ASMR | Lessons of History: How Little We Know

Description: We are continuing readings from the Will and Ariel Durant classic "The Lessons of History."
I look at the opening chapters that express the reluctance to claim knowledge of absolute truths derived from the study of the past, except perhaps the useful idea that no historian can be objective; after all, there's always an inherent bias in the act of choosing an area to focus on, right? Instead, their extensive, lifetime study of history has humbled them, but also left them with the wisdom that everyone has a unique truth.
With this in mind, maybe the little known eras and vast unknown eons of human history can eventually shed light on how we are, in order to sublimate profound meaning out of the moment that we exist. Thanks for watching!
I can't stress how much your subscriptions, likes and comments keep me inspired to get better... So thank you for all your warm support these past couple years :)
