ASMR Exploring the Northwest USA & the Place Name Game

One of the rainy day games I used to play as a child was where we would look on the map, and choose place names. Then we'd make up a story for how the place got its name.

Today, after we've talked capitals, and traced borders, we'll play that game with a place in the northwest USA.

Where will it be? What is the story?
