ASMR Eating Sounds - Meet Some of My Animals! 🐕 🦎 🐓 🦜🦝

To bring some lighthearted fun during these trying times, I thought I’d try something different and show you a little about me...while still recording some ASMR! 😊

In order of appearance in the video...

1. 22 year old cockatiel. I’ve had him since he was hatched out of the egg. He’s a little crabby patty, but we still love him. He got lucky for this video and got some millet seeds in his food bowl.

2. 3 to 4ish year old ferret. We rescued him from the Humane Society. He was my birthday present a couple years ago and I love him! He goes crazy for his vitamin paste, which I put on his food for this video.

3. 3 year old Rhode Island Red hen. She got a leg injury as a tiny chick so she kinda hobbles around. She is free range in the side yard. She is spoiled! She gets her regular scratch grains, but she also gets some veggies every so often and of course, her absolute favorite...superworms!

4. 5 year old Hypo Leatherback Bearded Dragon. He keeps going in and out of brumation, so he’s suuuuper crabby! Excuse the powdery mess in his cage. I dust his super worms with calcium and multivitamins.

5. 7 or 8ish year old mini dachshund. We rescued him from a shelter and they weren’t exactly sure of his age at the time, but we’ve had him for 6 years now. Poor guy went to 6 different homes before we got him. But he’s definitely found his forever home. He’s very excitable and loving. Looooves to do tricks for treats. And he’s the best camping dog!! (I took off his collar just for this video) We have other doggies, but I decided to feature him this time.
Fun fact: He has been in a Petsmart newspaper and online ad for Halloween doggy cookies and a Halloween costume, as well as a Petsmart commercial with lots of other animals (including my other sweet bearded dragon, may she Rest In Peace 😇)! 😍

Can you tell I’m an animal lover? 😜 If you don’t like animals, no need to tell me. Just exit out of the video and move along. If you feel the need to say something negative, you’ll probably just be blocked. These are my babies and I felt like sharing with you all. ❤️

What is ASMR?

“ASMR stands for "Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response." It typically refers to the "tingly feeling" that travels from the head downward that some experience in response to certain sounds, feelings, or descriptions. These can include soft whispering, crinkling paper, or a gentle touch.”

To me, it’s a relaxing or calming feeling, the tingles or the chills.

I acknowledge the interest in my foot-related videos, but I am always trying to provide a wider variety of content. I am not my feet. 😉 I like my toenails short, so please do not tell me to grow them longer. I do, however, like my fingernails long. 🥰 My favorite trigger has always been tapping with long nails. I like hair play with long nails too. I also like soft, subtle mouth sounds and gentle whispering, but I’m not confident enough to do those just yet.
