In this mostly slow whispered video, I talk about how sadness is a fundamental trait of gothic art and how true sadness is generative and a good thing-
Modern politics often skip sadness, using goth aesthetics to disguise techno supremacy and deep nihilism.
(I try not to spend too much time on this)
I also explain how as an individual, its important for sadness to have an outlet, typically via imagery and ritual.
This isn't completely relaxing content, but is important- and, quite gothic of me to say so! (Following the spirit of gothic messaging actually having something to say).
Thank you, as always!
