Scottish Ned tries ASMR [Unintelligible?]

A Scottish Ned tells a wee story, ASMR style.

Something happened at the weekend, Muzz was out at the club in Edinburgh with his pals, and after a few drinks was abandoned.

Muzz hooked up with some other people instead, but they are not all they appear to be. What happened next might shock you.

Is the story unintelligible? Maybe not to the Scots out there but hopefully it's pretty cryptic to everyone else.

I've been planning a Scottish Ned character for a while. Partly because Scots like to laugh at ourselves, but also because I thought the way certain 'ned's' speak could actually work for ASMR, slow, cryptic, repetitive dialogue full of colorful metaphors.

❓ What is ASMR anyway?

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and it basically refers to a calming, often tingling physical sensation.

This sensation is 'triggered' by various things such as whispering closely into a micrphone, to make it seem as though the listener (through headphones) is having someone talk very closely and intimately with them. This is probably the most popular and common ASMR trigger.

Other common triggers include, Scratching and tapping on various objects, page turning while reading, simulating personal attention to the viewer and concentration on a task, often a fairly simple task such as drawing a picture or unboxing a new product.
