Ricketts Glen Waterfalls | 2 Hours White Noise for Sleep | Autumn 2017

56 unique scenes (each lasting 30 or 60 seconds) of the Ganoga Glen section of waterfalls at Ricketts Glen State Park Pennsylvania during Autumn 2017, with audio recorded from one of the waterfalls to create a white noise soundscape for sleeping purposes. The video footage repeats after the first hour and has a 1 minute fade-out at the very end.

During the week of October 16, 2017 I made the trip to Ricketts Glen with the hopes of creating my first video of the beautiful park and its waterfalls during the peak autumn season when the colors of the leaves on the surrounding trees would be at their most vibrant. Unfortunately it was an off season in that regard due to weather conditions being unseasonably warm and dry which caused the peak season to hit about 2 weeks prior near the end of September. The trees had already begun to shed their leaves by the time I arrived and the colors were muted and not as vibrant. But all was not lost! There was still enough color and foliage left, though I would have still recorded the falls regardless.

I will be returning to Ricketts Glen most likely in 2018 hopefully to film this and the other sections of waterfalls during late spring / early summer when all of the trees are in full bloom once again.
