Ep 4 Write-up:
The group continued their search of the caverns below the Redbrands' manor. With the assistance of the goblin Droop, who they had temporarily befriended. They scavenged some supplies from the Redbrands, and disguised themselves in red cloaks before moving on from a hidden armoury.

Droop proved not to be a great help in a fight as they tangled with a few magically animated skeleton guardians, the heroes dispatched them without too much trouble, even without the aid of the cowardly goblin. Their scuffle alerted nearby bandits however, who struck as soon as the heroes entered the holding cells, an adjoining room to the old family crypt.

The trio swiftly defeated the hapless bandits and saved a small family from the holding cells, who explained that the father/husband of the family had been slain in front of them by the Redbrands and tossed into the previously encountered pit. Before they were rescued, the mother and two children were going to be sold by the bandit group. They requested an escort from the cave and told the party about the location of a family heirloom in a town called Thundertree. The teenage boy warned the party about Fletch, and told them not to turn their back or let it in their head.
Evading some scattered traps, the group battled a few more bandits and ended up outside a room they had found earlier, the common room of the bandits. Eyvanna broke in and successfully deceived the drunken gamblers that she was in fact a new recruit, and joined their game of cards. One by one the party members lured bandits from the common room to take them out safely.

During the confusion, the group lost track of Droop. They pressed onward to find the sanctum of the wizard Glassstaff, who was also nowhere to be found. His alchemy workshop, writing desk, and treasure were all abandoned. A letter on the desk was written to one “Lord Albrek”, the wizard that Sildar had come looking for, and was signed by “The Black Spider”.

The party fled from the Redbrands' hideout with the voice of Fletch echoing in their mind, the creature hounding them until they finally ascended into the manor proper, and out into the light of day. In front of them, just outside the front doors, lay the shattered body of a familiar bugbear.
