Today I stole some time, just for me...albeit, about 45 minutes of meditative drawing and painting. You might even be treated with a little peep at the birds on the feeders, just outside the window. At the moment, my time is mostly taken up with caring and tending to the needs of others. I get up super early to do my yoga video so that I can then start my day in earnest. It might not seem like much, but those 45 minutes cleansed my soul and quietened my mind. It was how I chose to meditate today. Time really is the greatest gift of all and I'm aware that I must use it wisely. I therefore hope that you find some enjoyment in these moment of drawing, painting and my general waffly chit chat about everything and nothing.

I started uploading this at 4pm on Tuesday and now, 15 hours later, it is still uploading and stuck at 92%. Apologies for the wait. I've no idea how long it will take but hopefully it will upload before I leave the house or it will be sitting there until I return. For anyone who has super fast upload speeds...I am a little envious. We have overhead cables and the chances of ever getting fibre...almost zero.

I will get round to finishing this off at the next available opportunity, somewhere between chopping wood, repairing a sash window and sucking a lollipop or 5.

My words of wisdom: art is whatever you want it to be; it's an expression of our inner selves, never let anyone tell you that you can't. We live in a world where perfection is deemed to be the ultimate goal for many. Look for the imperfections and admire the beauty within each and every flaw...for they truly are, some of the most beautiful that you will happen across.
